Our executive team is comprised of certified and tenured IT experts with a breadth of industry experience.
FNTS President Kim Whittaker is a passionate leader with extensive knowledge in identifying trends, strategic solutions and new technologies that meet technical needs facing organizations today. She has served FNTS since 1996 and was named President of the company in 2017. Kim is instrumental in developing strategies for emerging technology, IT trends, enhanced security capabilities and customized managed service solutions. Kim cares deeply about the customer experience and long-term relationships. She ensures that FNTS provides high-level service and products to clients who rely on responsive, redundant and reliable solutions.
Before joining FNTS, Kim held positions at First National Bank of Omaha and Principal Financial Group. Kim has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Nebraska. Kim’s career was spotlighted in Nebraska Quarterly, a Nebraska Alumni Association publication.
As the first female President of FNTS, she leads FNTS’ Women in Technology initiative, inspiring youth to consider future careers in technology. As a member of the AIM Institute not-for-profit board, Kim is invested in growing the tech talent pipeline and increasing diversity in the technology industry.
Kim is a Husker fan and once played on the University of Nebraska’s golf team. In addition to rooting for the Huskers and playing golf, Kim enjoys spending time with her family.
Ken Marr, FNTS Chief Technology Officer (CTO), is a strategic and innovative leader who assists in developing long-term technology strategies to ensure FNTS remains steps ahead of technical change in the marketplace, continuing its long-standing history of providing tailored IT solutions to clients worldwide. While embracing the growing sophistication of technology, Ken works to ensure maximized results for organizations of all sizes through FNTS’ scalable, secure and custom-built IT solutions.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Ken has vast knowledge of IT operations, software engineering, data management and digital transformation initiatives, including the creation of an entire technical ecosystem and many software products, as well as advanced technology platforms.
Originally from Juniata, Nebraska, Ken graduated from Hastings College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Human Resource Management.
Ken enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, traveling, hunting, fishing, boating and scuba diving.
Dan Chicoine is the Vice President of Marketing for FNTS. He is responsible for all aspects of FNTS’ marketing efforts including; planning and strategy, brand, research and insights, and customer advocacy. In addition, Dan oversees FNTS’ strategic partnership programs with organizations such as; Microsoft, VM Ware and Dell EMC. He joined FNTS in 2019 as Director of Marketing and was named to his current position in July of 2020.
With a strong emphasis in marketing strategy and planning for over 20 plus years, Dan has held marketing roles with a wide-range of organizations from start-ups to Fortune 500. Early in Dan’s career, he co-founded Omaha Entrepreneurs (a local non-profit that helps entrepreneurs connect and network with investors and service providers) that eventually merged with another non-profit, Midlands Venture Forum, where he volunteered and served on the board of directors.
Dan is an avid sports fan (SKOL VIKES) and enjoys going to concerts, working out, spending time at the lake, and always working/struggling to improve his golf game. Originally from South Dakota, he attended the University of South Dakota before moving to Omaha, Neb. after college where Dan still calls home today.
As Chief Information Security Officer, Don Pecha executes highly effective and balanced information security programs for clients that securely enable business across their technology landscape. He also ensures regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and high-level performance when implementing these programs.
A Certified CISO and Certified Ethical Hacker, Don has a deep understanding of threat defense, which has guided his 25-year career in overseeing the security strategy and IT governance of many highly regulated health care, finance and higher education enterprises.
Prior to FNTS, Don served as CISO for Insite Data Services, where he led security operations for two major data centers that provided banking solutions to 120 Midwest communities. As Information Security Manager at PayPal, Don led a team of security professionals that secured PayPal’s business units. At Moody’s Analytics, he was integral in protecting and securing bank applications.
Don takes a consultative approach to each client opportunity. Whether he develops unique security architecture that accommodates specific business needs, provides guidance on audits, governance and risk alignment or shares tools and efficiencies to improve an organization’s security posture, Don is a strategic advisor.
A well-rounded security leader with proven business, security, architecture and operational knowledge, Don will enable continuous security maturity at FNTS. He shares FNTS’ unified approach that security must be infused into all facets of an organization to ensure security operations perform at the highest level possible.
Don studied Computer and Information Systems Security at Bellevue University and has derived much of his knowledge from his technical and leadership roles.
Don is active in his community and enjoys the outdoors. In addition to being an avid hiker, certified sailor and member of the Ski Patrol, he has been involved with Boy Scouts of America and Trail Life USA, where he recently created a new troop in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Norie Rich, Vice President of Client Experience, plays a pivotal role in elevating the overall client experience at FNTS to reinforce the company’s commitment to excellence and drive client satisfaction to new heights.
As FNTS continues its strategic growth trajectory, Norie spearheads initiatives to enhance the end-to-end client journey, ensuring seamless interactions and exceeding expectations. Her wealth of experience positions her as a key driver in aligning our client services with evolving market demands.

James Brouhard, Director of Engineering, oversees the engineering team – a passionate, consultative group focused on developing long-term relationships and delivering strategic technical solutions that align with today’s customer needs. His team exudes the fortitude, drive and expertise to handle the fast paced and demanding needs of a managed services provider (MSP).
Responsible for the development of each engineer, James assists in implementing best practices, refining engineering processes and serves as the primary liaison for engineering across all customer organizations at FNTS. He and his team deliver a customer experience driven by FNTS’ cultural commitment and expertise in improving efficiencies for enterprise IT management.
With a wide range of managed services experience supporting MSP startups and large enterprise teams in the financial services, manufacturing and ecommerce industries, James understands the needs and IT landscapes of a broad range of industries.
James’ education has helped him develop a consultative approach that bridges the gap between technology and business. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Bellevue University, as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering.
When he’s not helping engineer IT solutions, James enjoys building furniture, lighting and more from reclaimed materials.
As Senior Manager Sales & Software Sales, Jim Cannon works to optimize software spend by advocating on behalf of clients regarding their investments with independent software vendors. He also helps clients standardize and adopt new software solutions to help meet their unique business and budget objectives.
Software sales is an area of strategic growth for FNTS, and Jim is uniquely positioned to ensure FNTS adds value in the managed services marketplace. Jim spent the past 24 years at IBM and has experience in software sales, consulting, partner engagement and enterprise contract negotiations. Leveraging his consulting background, Jim understands the value services and partner ecosystems can provide to a client’s technology engagement by reducing software deployment risk, improving speed to market and maximizing software investments. As an IBM Strategic Dealmaker, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge to the team regarding software engagement models, IBM enterprise licensing and how to optimize software spend.
Jim earned a bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing from Emporia State University. He also completed Harvard University’s Industry Insights course that focused on business justification development and articulating the value of technology investments.
On a personal note, family, faith and fun are at the cornerstone of Jim’s life. Jim enjoys rooting for Kansas City sports teams with his wife Judy and their three daughters.
As Principal Solutions Architect, Mike Chamberlain collaborates with FNTS’ architecture team, engineers and sales staff to design and implement backend solutions to support systems and cloud environments that help clients achieve their business goals.
With more than 30 years of IT expertise, Mike can quickly analyze unique configurations and problems to identify strategic solutions that help clients overcome challenges and meet their business objectives. His ability to communicate clearly across all technical levels allows him to take a consultative approach to client conversations to ensure FNTS delivers the right solution, not just the correct technology.
A VMware Certification Implementation Expert (VCIX) for data center solutions, Mike has over 15 years of experience designing and deploying VMware technologies. He also is a certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Security Engineer, with five years of experience designing and deploying Azure Cloud solutions.
Mike has an associate degree in robotics and automation. His technical skills have allowed him to pivot and adapt to the ever-changing IT landscape. He enjoys working with talented individuals to solve new and complex problems every day, which drives his continued professional and personal growth.
Mike’s hobbies include hiking in the mountains and woods with his wife and their dogs and supporting his favorite football team – the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dan Deluca, Director of Engineering, Public and Private Cloud, helps lead FNTS’ team of architects and engineers that enable public and private cloud offerings. Dan supports FNTS’ valued clients ensuring their cloud environment is operational while helping them realize the advantages that come with migrating their IT resources to the cloud.
Dan brings 25 years of information technology experience to the team along with expertise on a wide variety of technologies on many different systems. This has enhanced his ability to learn new technologies quickly and assess how businesses can leverage them to create opportunities and solve challenges.
He started his career as a programmer, became an architect and is now a leader. He spent the last several years leading teams that host client systems in Azure. He has deep expertise with Azure, as well as providing around-the-clock monitoring and management in public cloud environments.
Dan attended Creighton University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, MBA and MS-ITM. He enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.
As FNTS’ Director of Finance, Jeff Fonda supports the financial operations of the company by ensuring billing processes and contracts are accurate and timely for customers. Internally, his involvement in the budgeting process supports strategic planning for FNTS’ growth.
A Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with a diverse background working with large corporations in Omaha, Jeff has experience in corporate finance, project management, account management, performance management, internal controls and cost management. This experience is valuable in supporting FNTS’ budget strategy and improving financial processes.
Jeff holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His education shaped his career and led him to his passion for managerial accounting and to attain his CMA credential.
Jeff enjoys traveling and is a certified scuba diver.
As Director of Mainframe Operations, Jim Gronbeck leads a collaborative team of mainframe engineers who provide software, hardware support and maintenance to organizations that utilize FNTS’s trusted mainframe services.
At FNTS, Jim provides oversight and strategic direction to ensure customizable and right-fit solutions for organizations with mainframes of all sizes and complexity. He is committed to ensuring organizations have efficient IT infrastructure to run their businesses effectively. Jim and his team take the time to understand client business cycles and key objectives to deliver consistent and reliable services while potential business impact is minimized.
A former mainframe engineer, Jim has extensive experience in offering technical support. He also has held a variety of regional and global IT management roles to support outsourced and non-outsourced business operations.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Colby College and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Jim’s educational background provided him with a firm foundation in IT and fostered an interest in understanding the role IT plays in business growth.
Originally from Boston, Jim is a Red Sox fan. He also enjoys spending time with his kids, golfing, skiing, gardening and home renovation projects.
As Senior Manager of Network Engineering at FNTS, Scott Huber leads a motivated network team to design and deliver quality solutions for clients utilizing the private and public cloud offerings at FNTS. Scott’s interest in network technologies has become his passion, and he blends a range of skills from desktop support to network design alongside his cross-functional, goal-oriented team members.
With 25 years of senior IT leadership in a variety of highly regulated industry settings that include healthcare, pharmacy and financial services, Scott utilizes his unique perspective to understand, isolate and troubleshoot all facets of technical issues. Scott is equipped to handle the day-to-day needs of organizations and represents his network team during client-facing interactions to bridge the gap between technology and business and ensure service delivery exceeds customer expectations.
Scott attended Southeast Technical Institute for Computer Information Systems. He is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his wife and their son.
